Partnering with Local Organizations to Keep our City Tidy
Here at Icicle Tricycles, we believe in doing good. It’s one of the reasons we strive for excellence in our R&D for new models, and is also the driving factor behind our newest bike model: The City Cleanup Bike!
We’ve been lucky enough to partner with local Portland organizations like Groundscore and Central City Concern (CCC) to provide them with specialized mobile cleanup vehicles tailored to their specific needs. This allows them to perform high priority tasks like trash pickup, graffiti removal, street cleaning services and more all while maintaining an incredibly small carbon footprint!
Ground Score seeks to build a more environmentally and socially aware community, while also changing society’s perceptions of what and who is considered valuable.
Ground Score was launched in 2019, and is an association of informal recyclers, canners, dumpster divers, and other waste pickers who create and fill low-barrier waste materials management jobs in Portland, Oregon. They are collectively-organized and radically inclusive, prioritizing work opportunities for those facing work and housing insecurity.
When given the chance to work with Ground Score, we leapt at the opportunity! Being able to work with an organization that aligns with our core values is such an honor. We value being able to provide customized vehicles that allow them to perform their demanding jobs at their highest quality, as efficiently as possible.

We here at Icicle Tricycles are committed to providing environmentally sustainable vehicles that get the job done (oftentimes better than their gas-powered counterparts). We love it when we can align ourselves with organizations that aim to make their local environments better!
Our Cleanup Bikes are finding themselves in more and more cities across the U.S. and Canada, and we couldn’t be happier about facilitating this movement towards cleaner and more environmentally friendly cities.
