Belly’s Ice Cream Bike, owned by Skye and Fiona, is a small trike-powered business selling scratch-made cookie ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cups.
They’ve been operating for one year and one month out of Tampa Bay, with operations in the St. Augustine and Jacksonville areas, as well.

When asked why they chose to run their business from a trike, Belly’s founders told us:
“We chose the trike because it’s a head-turning centerpiece that makes people smile at every market and catering event. It let us start selling and building a following almost immediately, without the capital and buildout timeline of a truck or brick-and-mortar shop. But also, it’s just fun! Pedaling up to a pop-up on a bike sets the tone for the whole experience before anyone’s even tasted the ice cream.”
We couldn’t agree more!

Skye and Fiona are currently working on scaling their business through the University of Tampa’s Spartan Incubator program, and building out their wholesale, retail, and catering channels.
That said, they say the bike isn’t going anywhere:
“It’s a core part of who we are as a company, so it’ll always stay central to how we show up at events and in our community.”
